Over the weekend, the Big Tech monopoly Google/Facebook/Twitter/Amazon began purging conservative voices from their platforms. This culminated in the total deplatforming of Parler, the number one app on the App Store until the purge kicked them off the internet.
Let me state emphatically – I support the Capitol protestors. They had every right to protest this fraudulent election and the total Communist takeover of our government. They were remarkably peaceful in their protest. The only real violence was when a Secret Service agent shot an unarmed woman in the neck, killing her.
This fully legal instance of political protest is being used as pretext to engage in Stalinist tactics of suppression and intimidation. Our government has made plain its intention to usurp the Constitution, starting with freedom of speech.
We are on the road now to what must inevitably result in Civil War. To our Republican lawmakers who tried to stand against this coup, I congratulate you. Most of you however were cowards and traitors. You have failed America. Like the Supreme Court failed America. Like the state legislatures have failed America. You stood with the mob, against us.
Let me remind you of the very Declaration of Independence that led to the formation of this Constitutional Republic.
“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. First, you have engaged in a wanton act of egregious voter fraud, a criminal act. Second, you have certified those fraudulent results, an act of fraud. Third, you have sided with the traitors who overthrew our Republican government and have taken sides against the American people.
In this act of treason, you have sought nothing less than the total disenfranchisement of 75 million Americans who re-elected President Donald Trump in a landslide. You have usurped the free exercise of our rights to speech, to protest, and to vote to choose our own government. And now you are using totalitarian tactics to silence and control a free people.
I think the time has come to dissolve this Union. We reject your authority over us, as it was obtained through a clear violation of the Constitution and the Rule of Law. We cannot live in a country where the minority who seized power so clearly hate us and wish to do us violence. We cannot share a nation with Communist insurgents who have rejected our laws, our Constitution, and our sacred traditions. If you side with them, with the Communists, then we mark you as traitors.
To the GOP, I hold you in contempt. In your singular act of cowardice, you allowed this travesty to stand, and all but guaranteed the destruction of this Union and the annihilation of this Republic. You sided with the enemy against free Americans and against the Constitution of the United States. And you did it for political gain.
I do not know what the future will hold. I do fear that the words of our first Republican President will prove to be prescient
“I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free.
I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided.
It will become all one thing or all the other.”
I stand with the Constitution. I stand with free and fair elections. I stand with President Donald Trump.
I stand against all despots and traitors.
