The Former VP of the United States Has Abdicated Authority

Per the former VP’s speech of June 2, 2022:

“At the same time, the Second Amendment, like all other rights, is not absolute. It was Jus- — it was Justice Scalia who wrote, and I quote, “Like most rights, the right…” — Second Amendment — the rights granted by the Second Amendment are “not unlimited.” Not unlimited. It never has been.”

Let’s discuss inalienable rights. An inalienable right is BY DEFINITION ABSOLUTE.

Inalienable rights are rights held by natural law. You’re born with them. They cannot be legislated away by representative government, or commanded away by kings, as they do not originate with either.

This is not merely an assault on the 2nd amendment. It is an assault on inalienable rights. The bedrock of the US Constitution.

The rights listed in the Bill of Rights are inalienable rights. Inalienable rights are

“Personal rights held by an individual which are not bestowed by law, custom, or belief, and which cannot be taken or given away, or transferred to another person, are referred to as “inalienable rights.” The U.S. Constitution recognized that certain universal rights cannot be taken away by legislation, as they are beyond the control of a government, being naturally given to every individual at birth, and that these rights are retained throughout life.”

Given that the President swears in his oath of office, however farcical it might be for a fraudulently elected former VP, that

“I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.”

it means he has violated his oath of office.

The federal government cannot pass laws that step beyond its enumerated powers, that violate the sovereignty of the States, or the individual rights of its citizens.

That’s the 10th amendment.

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

He can make speeches. Congress can draft bills. It does not matter. They are illegal on their face because they violate the Constitution.

The federal government cannot simply decide that there are no inalienable rights. To do so is to violate the US Constitution, and to dissolve the social compact where, by our consent, we grant representative powers to that government to act on our behalf. This is no less than a declaration of war on the Constitution and the American people whose inalienable rights it recognizes and guarantees.

The former VP has abdicated his authority. If he ever had it.

You better be on the phone with your Senators and Congressmen.

Tell them. The sitting former VP of the United States just declared there are no inalienable rights, and asserted government authority over such rights, in direct violation of the Constitution. Whatever the RINOs may think about it, they all took oaths of office too.

The right to self-defense is an inalienable right, along with the right to keep and bear arms. The government cannot take away such rights, as the government has never had authority over them. They are not granted by law. Therefore they cannot be rescinded by law. If Republican lawmakers cannot support the inalienable rights of their citizens, they are also in violation of their oath of office. They do not deserve to hold power at all.

This illegal action by former VP Joe Biden cannot stand.
