Environmentalism is a religion. Evolutionism is a religion. Like other totalitarian religions of the past, they will not tolerate dissent. You have to appreciate the irony. While simultaneously condemning any religious thought as invalid and irrelevant to scientific inquiry (never mind the long, long list of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish thinkers throughout history) and thus denying them any access to academia, they form a religious cult that is infinitely more oppressive and antithetical to rational thought than the straw men of Christianity they love to demean and denigrate.
